My son says they are 4 star ribs. Brisket isn't bad either.

Awesome bbq- beef brisket sliced or chopped, chicken and many more smoked meats. This stuff is awesome, approaching the vest I have had anywhere! Sides were also well done and presented and the price is excellent. Wow, wish this place was near me in Seattle!

Amazingly tasty BBQ for a chain. Ribs were succulent & tender, brisket had a nice crust & was tender & juicy. Coleslaw was a little watery but had nice flavor. The staff was friendly & patient while I made up my mind what to order. Lots of BBQ'd choices.

Having been spoiled for years on good BBQ in Texas, I went to Dickeys with low expectations. I was very happy to find that the BBQ here was not bad at all. I have eaten here now several times and have tried the Brisket, Sausage, and Ribs, and all have been pretty good, especially since I believe this is a chain restaurant. They even have fried Okra which is normally only found in BBQ joints in the south. Also, they have been consistent which is something to be proud of in the BBQ Business. A lot of places seem to hit a home run on some days, and overcook the Brisket on others. Dickey's has been a good experience for me every time I've gone. If there is any draw back I would say it looks a little beat up, and is nothing fancy as far as the interior. But Hey, The best BBQ I have every eaten was at a place in the "Hood" in Houston, so Dickeys, rates pretty high compared to some places. Price's are reasonable as well.

On Aug 19, 2015, stopped for a pulled pork sandwich at lunchtime. Staff was very friendly and efficient. BUT the pulled pork was too salty, unlike most Dickey's pulled pork I've eaten at other locations. Disappointing. Also, the ice cream was foamy - not frozen enough.

Very poor restaurant went there at 7:30PM they were out of baked potatoes and ribs, WtF??? Well anyway the girl with blue hair was very rude as if I was bothering her not helpful at all!!! Is this why Dickey's all over are closing down??? Poor customer service and employees vat like you are bothering them!!! Bring on famous Daves although higher priced they are not out of the main staple of BBQ (RIBS) and staff are very friendly an. Helpful!!! I will never eat at another again!!!

On a Sunday afternoon...just passing through pretty Rock Springs WY. Having a great meal. The hot food was actually hot! The staff greeted us with a friendly..hello and welcome to Dickeys. The portions were great for the price. We had 2 meat plate with 2 sides. The sauces were great. With all the choices I'm glad we chose this Dickeys. Thanks, girls. Your boss should be proud.

These guys just catered a family member's wedding reception. They were supposed to serve, but NOPE - just dropped the food and ran! And utensils - NOPE. We called and the manager's response: my bad!! Try serving a crowd bbq, mashed potatoes and Mac & cheese without utensils. No apology, no credit, nothing. Worst customer service ever and the manger couldn't have cared less. There's a reason this guy has so many 1 star reviews.

This Dickeys was ok. The meat was good, but way too much bread for $8.00 a sandwich. The baked beans were horrible, I tried to return them for a refund or exchange but they were already closed at 8:30 pm. I'll pass on this Dickeys in the future.

I recently had occasion to try the Dickey's in Salt Lake (see my review there for more thoughts) and found this to be an excellent example of a high quality, scalable BBQ chain, which hadn't been really done to my satisfaction prior. I'm pleased to report that crossing state lines has done nothing but solidify that viewpoint. The ribs here were excellent, well smoked and perfectly done, a true pleasure to eat. The fried okra was a touch over-salted and the waffle fries I had no interest in (got them mostly for my son), but inspecting what I could of the kitchen, I'd not be afraid to try their brisket as it looks like they have things well in hand here. This was the first food stop of our vacation this year and it really set a high tone for things, which was sadly not matched by a single other restaurant we visited on our travels this year, but the consistency is there in this chain and this visit was the equal to my stunning experience in Salt Lake earlier.

I just spent $40 on a Family Pack at Dickey's going through the drive thru. Two meat selections were pork ribs and brisket. The ribs were very dry, not warm and the portion was small; yesterday's ribs or the dregs? The brisket portion was larger but more like a well done roast with bbq sauce. The sides were not right since I received 2 bbq beans and 1 green bean when I ordered 1 bbq and 2 green. The rolls were old and stale, very hard and not fresh by a long shot. When I got home, I immediately called and asked to speak with a manager. It was the manager that answered and I told him that the sides were wrong and asked for some sort of credit. The manager told me that I could drive back over and get the right sides. This was before I even looked at the meat and ate dinner. The manager was not interested in my complaint. Also, if you are driving I-80 and in a hurry or driving anything other than a small car, don't take the drive thru; it is narrow and tough to navigate in anything other than a small car. Good food is hard to come by in Rock Springs and I have yet to find decent bbq here.

I was passing through and was hungry. It was a Sunday so my options were even more limited than usual. Stopped here expecting that this Kansas City BBQ boy would be disappointed. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and a side of potato salad. Sorry to say but both were barely edible as food let alone BBQ. I rarely consider asking for a refund as it is rarely the on staff's fault. Had I not been anxious to get on the road I would have asked for my money back.

Not impressed! I was craving BBQ, so decided to stop in. Let me tell ya, it's not like we make it down south. The sauce was really sweet, it was terrible. The sliced brisket was charred & super dry. It took forever to get my order...totally not worth the wait & didn't satisfy my BBQ craving. Can't wait to get back home to Oklahoma for some real BBQ!

Dickey's was our mid-roadtrip dinner stop. My dad and I are great BBQ fans, and we figured if anyone knew how to do it, it's Wyoming -- We were right. The place was jammed, so the line dragged a bit - then we noticed they even had a drive-thru going. It was well worth the wait. My dad said his rib platter may well have been the best barbecue he's ever had (and he makes killer ribs himself), and my chicken was the most tender I have ever tasted. A gigantic jar of pickles, multiple varieties of BBQ sauce and sliced jalapenos are available for self-serve (this alone earns 5 stars from me!) D e l i c i o u s since 1941, apparently.

This Dickey's was better than the one in Westminster CO. The BBQ chicken sandwich was good. The Caesar salad was generic, but solid. The fried onions were way too salty. Tidying up the crew's sense of enjoying their job & the sides and this restaurant could make a splash.

Stop by Dickey's in Rockford Springs Wyoming tonight. Arrived at 8:40, 20 minutes before closing. This is after a 5 hour drive from Denver on the way home. Went up to order from a rather unfriendly lady, and was told that the dining room would close in five minutes and we could not eat it there on the grounds, but would have to take our food with us. Seems ridiculous and they offered no explanation why. So we had to go to a restaurant down the street which turned out to be pretty good. But certainly not a way to treat customers, and hopefully this is not a practice with all Dickeys restaurants.

Fast and delicious servitude but pretty expensive. Will definitely come back some other day though (probably a pay day)!

I really can't understand all the positive reviews for this fast food, fat coagulated pit, over cooked and stale chain restaurant. Desperate for something other than McDonalds or Subway in the long drive through wyoming, we had high hopes for the 5 stars that Dickeys BBQ proffered. I'm not going to go into the details of the rude staff, sticky tables, stale meats or toppings. But neither I nor my girlfriend could look at the yellow dickies cup rolling around in the back of our car for an entire week without feeling the curl of nausea.

Among all the places to eat in Rock Springs we picked Dickey's because it was familiar. It was the lunch stop on our trek across Wyoming on the way back to California. It certainly was quality food and lived up to the reputation of this chain. I got a brisket salad and it was every bit as good as the previous dish I had had back home. The varieties of meat were also very impressive and the tables and dining area was very clean. The wait to take our order was brief. Two things stood out for me. First, I had never seen a Dickey's with a drive thru. It just didn't cross my mind but the staff seems very adept at serving walk-ins and drivers alike. Second, this particular Dickey's did not allow you to put soft serve in the Big Yellow cup. The first time ever in a Dickey's that I have seen this practice. This was not a game breaker but I always thought that was part of the novelty of soft serve and drinks to mix the soft serve with soda. Otherwise, it was a very delicious lunch and an excellent place to stop by after driving through most of the southern portion of Wyoming.

Had a deliciously smokey and juicy cut of their beef brisket and portion of pulled pork which was excellent. Service was good. Of you're looking for quick, solid BBQ off the interstate this is the place.

Not bad BBQ, really the only one in town. The food was good, but ribs were way over cooked. The meat did fall off the bone, but it is supposed to fall off when you bite it, not when you pick it up. Brisket and pulled pork was very tasty. The sides however were much to be desired. The Mac&Cheese is more like Stouffers. If I didn't know better I would say it was Stouffers, no way is it made there from scratch. Mashed potatoes were kinda like a plastic??? If that makes sense. They didn't even stick to the wax coated cardboard cup they serve them in. Not sure why, but I didn't finish them. Decore: NEEDS TO GET RID OF OUTDATED RED CHECKERBOARD TABLE CLOTHS. Seriously, they are so old and stapled to the table that the red ink has been worn off on the top. They really need new decore. Looks like early 80's stuff in there If your hungry and want a quick fix for BBQ, this will suffice, but no way close to competition BBQ. One last thing, you do get a free ice cream cone!

Great BBQ but poor service. Acted like we were an inconvenience to them but the food was worth it

Very disappointing. I have been a Dickey's customer for around 40 years, originally in Texas where they began. I have never been unhappy with their food before, but if this had been my first time in a Dickey's, it would have been my last.

Great BBQ place that will appease any BBQ fanatic traveling through the vast stretches of nothingness that is southern Wyoming. I know my BBQ being from Texas and all, and this place has an amazing brisket sandwich. Pulled pork gets a thumbs up also. And get the fries too, they are uniquely cut and have plenty of golden goodness and yummy skins as well. Green beans were weird, but not bad. If ever in Rock Spring, WY Dickey's is a solid bet! PS: Really friendly staff! The only downside was Fox News on the TV, but I'll forgive 'em.
